For over 25 years, I’ve been an educator—first as an ESL teacher and teacher trainer, working in classrooms and with educators both locally in Canada and internationally.
My work with dogs began more than a decade ago, but | quickly realized that the two worlds weren’t as different as they seemed. So much of my work has always been about understanding how individuals learn, what gets in the way of learning, and how we can create the conditions for success.
Today, I bring that education background together with advanced study in dog behaviour. As a dog behaviour consultant in Toronto, I work primarily with complex behaviour including reactivity, fear, anxiety and aggression.
I believe that when we understand the reasons behind behaviour, we can build trust, strengthen relationships and create lasting change.
